Okay.  I’m not sure there’s a YA reader alive who hasn’t read The Remnant Chronicles at this point (and if you haven’t, you need to rectify that immediately). So obviously, as a huge fan of the original series, I HAD to get my hands on Dance of Thieves when it came out and then I was DYING for more pretty much the next day after I devoured it.

So when I was asked to participate in the Vow of Thieves blog tour I was dancing around like a crazy person a la…

I decided that instead of a traditional review I’m going to do a listicle for you guys, complete with GIFs for your viewing pleasure!

ALL THE FEELS YOU WILL FEEL READING VOW OF THIEVES, A LIST:

  • Jumping up and down excitement. It’s so great to back in this incredible universe, and you will surely be dying to see what’s in store for Kazi and Jase and the Ballengers.

  • “I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe.” This book is NOT for the faint of heart, let me just tell you.  There were so many moments when I couldn’t even breathe I was so afraid of what might happen when I turned the page. It’s exhilirating and terrifying and there are no words for the anxiety this book will induce in your life while you read it.

  • *SWOONS* Do you know how rare it is to just be totally in love with a couple in a duology? I always feel like I don’t get enough time in two books to really be completely in love with a romance, but these two… These two are something special. Kazi and Jase just have the best repoir between them and they’re so cute together. Plus, they’re both totally fleshed out characters that are likeable on their own too.

  • Jublilation. Without spoiling things I will just say there are a few moments in this book that had me like…

jubliation

  • HEART CRUSHING DESPAIR. And then there were moments when I felt like my soul was dying. That’s the mark of a good book, right? When you’re on a rollercoaster of emotions from beginning to end? We’re not masochists for doing this to ourselves, right? … RIGHT???

despair

  • Sobbing. And more sobbing.  Did I mention the sobbing? There are good tears, there are sad tears, there are mad tears, there are jubilant tears. But basically there are just tears. Lots and lots of tears.

  • Ahh… Sweet, satisfying, relief. And then the end comes, all too soon, and you get to do my favorite thing in the world: Sit back and let the story just soak into you. Let it wash over you again and again as you go back over the incredible journey it just took you on.
