Guys! Dragons everywhere need our help! There are no tacos left in the world! Oh no! What will they do?
As you can see, all that’s left are some measley taco crumbs… Those certainly aren’t going to cut it! Though I suppose, if the dragons could find a way to go back in time they just might be able to save the tacos [and that means saving the world].
How can you help #SaveTheTacos? Pre-order Dragons Love Tacos 2 and while you’re at, make sure you’ve got a copy of the hilarious original Dragons Love Tacos on hand so you can read up on Dragon Taco Preferences (you might want to refresh yourself on what exactly happens when spicy salsa gets involved).
Dragons Love Tacos is a charming children’s novel all about TACO MAKING FOR DRAGONS. I mean, what’s not to love about that premise? The illustrations are gorgeous: colorful, vibrant, and full of awesome dragons… they’re definitely designed to hold a child’s (or an adult’s) attention.
What I really love about this story is how the narrator constantly pulls the reader in by speaking directly to him. You get to travel into the book and learn how to throw an awesome taco party for all your closest dragon friends. And even when things get crazy (we’re talking jalepeno-level crazy), you know dragons will always have your back when tacos are involved.
Now it’s time for us to band together to #SaveTheTacos! We can’t let this be the end of taco parties as we know it, can we?
I didn’t think so!
To help us save the tacos, Penguin Kids is sending everyone who pre-orders Dragons Love Tacos 2 a bumper sticker and entering them to win the Ultimate Taco Party gift basket!
And if that’s not enough, you can enter to win a Dragons Love Tacos Book and Toy Set!
You’ve still got a few weeks to #SaveTheTacos, so be sure to spread the word! We’re definitely going to have to band together to stand a chance (and just think, together we might be able to throw the best taco party yet! So tell all your dragon friends and get ready for this hilarious sequel.
I adore your photos of the book and taco crumbs. This sounds like so much fun and I have to read these books. I checked out a couple of this author’s books from the library and will read them today. I enjoy humorous picture books and am working on a draft of one myself. This is an author to study for me.
We loved the first book ~ can’t wait to read the sequel!
